WHERE TO FIND THE FT GLOBAL 500 COMPANIES LIST FOR FREE

The FT Global 500 encompasses the world's largest companies. On the FT.com site, access to the list requires a paid subscription. Curiously, you can still access the May 2002 list (and download it!) from Hoovers.com/uk Type in the name of one of the biggest companies you can think of and go to the "company capsule" page. Here, if the company is part of the FT Global 500, it will say so and there is an active link to the list.
